Do you Know Your Stuff?

Whether you own or rent your current residence, in order to properly insure all the stuff you keep at home it is important to know and document the value of your belongings.  No doubt a tedious endeavor, but the good people over at the Insurance Information Institute have a new app that simplifies each step of the process.  The III Inventory Know Your Stuff app allows you to take pictures of your belongings and catalogue them by room.  You can document the make, model, cost, and purchase date of your most prized possessions all on your iPhone, iPad, or iPad Touch.  It’s free to download and easy to use (most of our agents even figured it out how to use it!).  So if you haven’t yet made a personal home inventory – we highly recommend you download the app and take the time to Know Your Stuff.
